Nice work if you can get it

Chicory- My favorite flower. Linnaeus created a wildflower clock back in his day. Each hour had a flower. Chicory opens up around 5:00am and then closes for the day at noon. Nice work if you can get it. Watch for it along the roadside. On cloudy days it doesn't obey its own rule!

Flickr: What a wonderful place to find other people's photos. I don't want to put my personal photos on the web however.

Here's another garden 'connection' for you! I found out many years ago that this was one of my grandfather's favorite flowers and has thus always been special to me. He died when I was very young, so it has been meaningful to me to be able to share something, even as small as the love of a little blue flower, with him anyway.

How absolutely lovely. For me that connection captures his vibrations - his personal energy - maybe even his love for you - in that very instant for you to experience over and over again and never lose. Lucky you.
